License agreement and copyterms
Please understand that the "Terms of Use" are provided for both your protection and our; they are written to clarify the terms under which the images contained within this site may be used. These terms are legally binding.Only the graphics specified within the collection of linkware are permitted to be downloaded, uploaded or placed in another directory meanwhile all images that comprise the site itself,are the sole, exclusive and permanent property of SCDesigns.
The backgrounds and templates in my linkware sektion are as the name says - linkware, on non commercial sites. The linkware sets and backgrounds and other graphics are not allowed as linkware on any type of commercial purpose witch means that you are not allowed to use them freely if you develop websites for any type of personal gain. If you are - like me - a webdesigner in need of graphics you are welcome to buy my "For sale" - sets and graphics.
Link back to me at : http://www.scarabedesigns.com with either my logo or a clearly visible textlink on the same page as the graphics you use. That means on every page you use my graphics. Ordinary creditpages does not show what graphic the credit is for.
The sets and other graphics is not allowed in any collections (such as CD:s etc), not to be altered or redistributed or used for ICQ - skinz and offered to others.
If you are using my graphics, PLEASE copy them to your own server. Do not steal my bandwidth. Bandwidththeft is a major problem on the web and causes sites to lock down. I use quite some time to rename graphics and moving them just to avoid anyone from linking directly to them.
Do not alter my graphics in any way. I put down several hours in each piece of graphic and they all mean a lot to me. That includes recoloring, renaming, relicense, changeing the fileformat, use portions to make banners or logos etc.You may not use any of the images within the linkware collection to create filters, brushes, tubes, nozzles, fonts or other current/future software plugins.Do not alter any of the sets - buttons, bullets, dividers etc are ment to match the set in witch they belong. You are permitted to put text on blank buttons and headers. I provide each set and template with blank headers and buttons. If you do not like the looks of my templates, do not use them!
The way I created them is the way they where ment to be.
Please contact me before buying any template or graphic from my linkware sektion. There is a chance that the template allready is in use by someone else since the linkware sektion is for free. There is also a chance that the template or graphic is not for sale.
Please refrain from using the linkware collection within pages promoting child abuse, hate, bigotry, racism, animal abuse and/or illegal pornographic activities.
SCDesigns retain the copyright - if you havenīt bought it, you retain the exclusive right for the graphics you bought but you are not allowed to resell, alter, relicense or redistribute the graphics. You are also obliged to put a link or logo back to SCDesigns on every page you use my graphics. If you buy the copyright then you can do what you want with the graphics you bought and you donīt have to put up any link back to me.
